Different Topics to Do a Agrumeative Paper on
Different Topics to Do a Agrumeative Paper onYou can use different topics to do a Agrumeative Paper for your university class. Agreed; you have to choose something that relates to the topic of the course and not another class, but there are some general criteria that you should consider before moving ahead.First of all, consider different topics to do a Agrumeative Paper on. Here is the most obvious question. Do you need to choose something for every course you teach?Usually, it is not so. What I mean by this is, if you study history or for instance, gender studies, then you would need to do a paper on it and therefore, you will need to do a class on the topic. In that case, if you think about a longer term, you will also need to do a class on another topic and so on and so forth. Then there is the issue of time. The problem with this problem is that you will have to find two classes to do these papers. If you teach a course, then you are already a teacher; that means you are obliged to spend a lot of time in the classroom. Besides, if you teach two classes, then you will have to inform the whole class and that means more time for you. Also, you will not know which class is best to do the class. This is another reason why it is always better to choose different topics to do a Agrumeative Paper on. You will have a better chance to choose which class is best to do the paper and it will be more systematic and if you are already in a class, then you will be able to run through the papers and compare what you have to do and what they have to do.Here is another consideration; if you have to prepare for a new course that you teach, then you will have to start from the beginning. That means you will have to start from the beginning. You can use the same professor as an example again, the teacher who has taught the first course you taught. You can give your paper to her and she will help you get it right. If you want to use the first chapter of the textbook to do a paper o n, you will also have to do a lecture and that means you will have to have a lecture and that will mean that you will also have to have a schedule for the whole semester and that means you will also have to write down for the whole semester what you have to do and how you have to do it. Of course, the important thing is that you will learn from the first class and not from a lecture.Do not think about other things besides the topic of the course when you decide to do a Agrumeative Paper on a new course. This is the only way to have a regular basis is to do Agrumeative Papers.

Capital Punishment Essays (1008 words) - Penology,
Capital Punishment ?The?Capital punishment is the infliction of the death penalty on persons convicted of a crime.? This has been a topic of debate for many years. People who are for: People who are against: ?Why do we kill people to prove killing people is wrong Unconstitutional The 1st argument I have against capital punishment is that it?s unconstitutional. Every person has an equal right to ?life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.? This is a quote from American Civil Liberty Union National Office, ?Capital punishment is a barbaric remnant of an uncivilized society. It is immoral in principle, and unfair and discriminatory in practice.? Does the government have the right to kill? Maybe in self defense, like a policeman firing on a armed and dangerous criminal. Suppose we apply the same standards to the government that we have for civilians. A civilian has the right to shoot at an intruder as he is entering his home but if the civilian catches the intruder and has him under his control, the shooting him would be considered murder. That?s what capital punishment is...simple murder. Against: I agree that capital punishment is a relic of barbarism but as murder itself is barbaric, death is a fitting punishment for it. It goes along with the ?eye for an eye? principle. For example, someone steals $10 from you and then the person who stole your money has the same thing happen to them? Doesn?t that satisfy you? Many feel the same about murders who are sentence to die. The criminal has brought the punishment upon himself, they deserve what they get. Cruel and unusual The 8th amendment of the us constitution, condemn gruel and unusual punishment is used to protest capital punishment. For:: When the constitution was drafted, capital punishment was practiced widely in this country, yet it was not specified as wrong or as cruel and unusual. John Locke went as far to say that murder is not intrinsically wrong. How can the constitution be brought into this argument, since it makes no mention of capital punishment? The methods by which executions are carried out can involve physical torture. ?Electrocution has on occasion caused extensive burns and needed more than one application of electric current to kill the condemned. It often takes 10 minutes or more to die in the electric chair. It is also torture to keep someone locked up when they know they are waiting to be killed. Officials often defend this and say it?s not cruel and unusual, but how can they defend this opinion in the case of John Evans who was executed by electrocution in 1983? According to witnesses at the scene Mr. Evans was given three charges of electrocution over a period of fourteen minutes. After the first and second charges Mr. Evans was still conscious and smoke was coming from oall over his body as a result of his flesh burning. An official there even tried to stop the execution on account of it being cruel and unusual punishment, but was unsuccessful. Witnesses later called th whole incident a ?barbaric ritual.? NEXT ARGUMENT The death penalty costs more than life in prison. It costs 5 to 6 times more than lifetime imprisonment, according to studies in a number of states. Most costs occur at trial level. Indiana, with smaller death row than Virginia?s estimates it could save $5 million per year by abolishing capital punishment. NEXT ARGUMENT Murder rates are lower in states that have abolished the death penalty. The Supreme court, United Nations, and numerous independent studies have concluded that the death penalty has no effect on the crime rate, on average the murder rate in U. S. which execute is almost double the rate in states without the death penalty. NEXT ARGUMENT possible death of innocent ?In case of a mistake, the executed prisoner cannot be given another chance. Justice can miscarry. In the last hundred years there have been more than 75 documented cases of wrongful conviction of criminal homicide. The death sentence was carried out in eight of these cases? Undoubtedly many other cases of mistaken conviction and execution occurred and remain undocumented. A prisoner discovered to be blameless can be freed; but neither releases nor compensation is possible for a corpse. NEXT ARGUMENT DOESN?T DETER CRIME Contrary to popular belief, the death penalty does not act as a deterrent to crime. ?Expert after expert and study after study have emphasized and emphasized the lack of correction between the threat of the death penalty and the occurrence of violent crime? Ehrlich?s study on the deterrent effect of capital punishment

Ancient Greek Democracy that Still Makes People Strive for Perfection
Ancient Greek Democracy that Still Makes People Strive for Perfection Ancient Greece is often referred to as a cradle of the Western World. This is not just a smart metaphor, but a certain fact that can hardly be refuted.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Ancient Greek Democracy that Still Makes People Strive for Perfection specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Thus, Greek dreams of a perfect society where everyone (or at least the majority) is happy resulted in the creation of the first democracy in the world. This invention of humanity has had a great impact on the development of the human society. First, Greek cities were governed as any other kingdom in the ancient world. However, a number of uprisings made Ancient Greeks work out a unique political system. Thus, in the 6th century B.C. Greeks created the first democratic society. It is possible to understand the major principles of Ancient Greek democracy when considering the meaning of the very word democratic. Thus, the word consists o f two composites: demos and kratos. The first composite is translated as ââ¬Å"the peopleâ⬠and kratos is translated as ââ¬Å"powerâ⬠, which gives us the following meaning: ââ¬Å"the power of the peopleâ⬠(qtd. in Ober 3). Therefore, there was no single ruler in the country and there was no risk of tyranny. Basically, people discussed the problems and worked out specific solutions to the problems. Admittedly, it can be a bit naà ¯ve to think that the majority always benefitted as there were always elite groups that pursued their specific objectives. Nonetheless, needs of many people were taken into account and many people could enjoy basic rights. It is possible to state that the creation of such a democratic society was revolutionary. Of course, it had an enormous impact on the development of humanity. Notably, many societies are based on the principles of Greek democracy. Many European countries followed the example of Ancient Greece to create new better societi es. Undoubtedly, Americans used experience of French people and used the principles outlined in Ancient Greece. Apart from such significant political implications, democratic principles of Ancient Greece have become certain part of peopleââ¬â¢s consciousness. As far as I am concerned, I am also affected by the democratic principles. I think Ancient Greeks managed to outline major principles of a perfect and just society. More so, I think I have specific views on society due to the influence of Ancient Greece. I have heard of justice and equality from my childhood. Of course, these views date back to the ancient world. Now I think that people should take a stand whenever they may need. I think that people can find solutions if they start a proper discussion when they listen to each other. I also think that these principles have affected my life. For instance, I believe discussion is the most important thing in any human interaction. Thus, I always discuss issues and I never jump to conclusions. I try to consider all possible factors and take into account all opinions. Of course, some time ago I thought I developed such principles as I was so smart and just. However, I think I did not work out these ideas. I only adopted them. These ideas are in the air and people cannot but adopt them (or try to oppose to them). Most importantly, no one remains distant as these ideas are integrated in our universe. Proper Planning and Pupil-Teacher Relationships are Fundamental in Essay
Proper Planning and Pupil-Teacher Relationships are Fundamental in Good Teaching - Essay Example Good teaching is a practice, it is an act and it is a process that requires utmost diligence, dedication and talent to enable the children understand the complexity of the information being passed by the teacher. It is considered as an act of generosity, a craft that grows through continued practice and expose and a risk that individuals in this profession have to take to deliver to the kids. It cannot be considered as a blanket technique or even technical knowledge for it comes from the integrity of the teacher and his/her dedication. A good teacher also develops greater relation with the subjects to enable him/her create a better environment that encourages teaching and the dissemination of knowledge. The chemistry developed between good teachers with his students enables him/her to understand that one approach that may be considered highly effective is highly ineffective on other students. In saying this, alludes to the fact that good education lights fire and keeps every student attentive in one class while it leaves the other class extinguished and bored. It is worth appreciating that the daily interaction between a teacher and a student in class lays the foundation for effective personalized learning environment that allows one on one delivery of knowledge to the students within the different contexts that they are raised in. In this paper, good teaching and its values to pupils shall be critically evaluated in the context of a primary school to explain how good teaching influences teacher-students relationships (Lin, and Gronlund, 2000). The process of curriculum development in line with good teaching practice will also be evaluated in line with how the process of planning and implementing teaching modules can be done (Rust, 2002). Teaching gives a way of creating space to the community to integrate and practice truth in our midst and this stems from the guiding abilities of good teachings. Good teaching should thus seek to provide enough bases upon whic h a student can use to learn to speak and listen in the community of truth. It thus enables us to understand that truth is not in conclusion as in the process of conversation but that it must be observed in the processes of conversation. Good teaching does not just cover the process of information delivery but also involves the processes of planning, designing and skilfully delivering the learning materials to the students in an environment that allows them to understand. Instincts are also critical in good teaching process for it enables a teacher to instinctively understand the different needs of the pupils and device appropriate delivery methods that suits the special needs (Schwartz & Webb, 2002). A good teaching process must thus begin with an inclusive question to develop a better establishment of the course content and elevate the level of challenge on the pupils. Theories, values, policies and issues on teacher-pupil relationship Good teaching cannot be highlighted without m entioning good teacher pupil relationship in the class set up. The moment of interaction between a child and the teacher provides a great opportunity to develop an interactive positive relationship that shall create basis for good teaching and learning environment. The process of building good positive relationship can adopt a number of methods such as the development of good listening skills when talking to the children, maintaining eye contact with them to enhance the process of confidence building and developing a one-on-one interactive sessions with the pupils (Roblyer, Edwards and Havriluk, 2003).
